Works as intended. Leaves a clean chamfer at the top of the doghole. Will last a long time with the 4 surfaces on the blade available.

These angled power screwdriver/drill tools are heaven sent for getting into tight corners. Because of the angle, they cannot however rival the precision you can obtain with normal drills and screwdrivers. When drilling, for instance, one often ends up with a lightly egg-shaped hole, which need not be a problem unless you are working to very high tolerances.

Chamfer Tool, PVC

This specially designed chamfer cutter tool cuts a neat, small chamfer around a precise 20mm dog hole. You can use it on the Festool MFT/3 table or any custom worktop made using the Parf Guide System. A shallow chamfer has two benefits: it allows full use of a wide variety of tools—from TDS-13 Dog Stops, to Chamfer Dogs, to the UJK Parf Super Dog—plus, it removes the sharp edge around the hole to prevent damage from repeated insertion/removal of dogs, clamps, and other accessories... Not to mention the occasion painful finger snag!

ChamferToollathe

This hand chamfer tool has a solid tungsten carbide cutter with four cutting edges. If the edge becomes dull, simply turn the cutter 90° to a fresh edge. In all probability, it will never need replacing.

Made light work of the many holes on my two MFT tables. Sharp, and produces a clean chamfered edge with just a few twists. Simple, and you don't need to drag out the drill/driver.

Note: This hand chamfer tool is only suitable for use with MDF/HDF. For hardwood veneered plywood, we recommend a 45° chamfer router bit with pilot bearing.

This angle drill/drive attachment is simply mounted in the chuck of your power drill or inserted in the 6.35 mm (1/4 inch) bit holder of your cordless drill. The bits are held by a magnet. For extra stabilisation use the included auxiliary handle that screws into the tapped holes either side of the housing. The auxiliary handle is hollow for storing bits and is closed with a rubber cap. The working height with the supplied 15 mm long bit is just 38 mm. The product package includes four PH2 bits.
