I'm a hobbiest and DIYer with a respectable set of tools. I'd rather spend the money on something decent up front that will work well and last than fight with a cheap tool or buy it two or three times over. Usually I don't have a problem identifying quality tools and manufacturers, but drill bits elude me. I can usually find a decent single drill bit at the local hardware store for something specific. But the only compete sets I find are cheaply made and poor in quality. What should I look for, and where?
