Azerbaijan is preparing for a major event addressing the global concern of climate change. The 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) will be held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, from November 11 to 24 this year.

We decided to build this plant in Jordan because of the big size of the feed market in the country and the growing feed consumption here, almost 3 million tons of feed grains, including corn, soy meal, barley, and bran, of one billion dollars cost, are exchanged in the Jordanian market every year. Two-thirds of this amount are used directly without any processing only simple grinding and mixing while one million ton is processed to produce pelleted feed. Therefore, we believe that Jordan is one of the promising markets in the field of Feed Production that can improve and grow even more.

Afterward, the grains are sieved and cleaned using special machines for this purpose, at this process any unwanted object is removed making the grains ready to be ground and weighed using very accurate scales. This prepares grains for the next step which is to be mixed in the Bühler Speedmix Batch Mixer, that offers optimal mixing quality at highest hygiene levels, the grains are mixed with specific amounts of additives and medicines depending on the type of the feed we want to produce. The final step is performed by Bühler pelleting dies and roller shells that produce the final pelleted feed product of various sizes using the latest technological and hygienic standards that enable top level of precision and durability. The final product is then packed in 50kg bags or transported in bulk silos directly to cows and poultry farms. All these processes are done using 100% clean energy that is supplied from Al-Hazaa Group’s solar energy plant.

Besides having steel silos that store grains, the Global Feed Mill also operates a factory that has three production lines for the purpose of producing different kinds of high-quality animal feeds, either pelleted or flakes feed. These three production lines enable a fully automatic production of feed with a total production capacity of 480 tons/day for pelleted feed and 240 tons/ day for the compressed corn flakes feed that is used for fattening calves and milking cows. At Global Feed Mill, we have a wide range of products including poultry feed (for laying hens and broiler poultry), cows feed (for fattening and milk cows), in addition to feeds for calves, horses, and sheep. The products are sold in the Jordanian market, and we also export them to neighboring markets in Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

Our most famous product is the Compressed Corn Flakes, which is produced using the Swiss technology, Bühler Flaking Mill. The importance of this kind of feed comes from the fact that it is manufactured using maize, which is considered a high source of energy that will improve digestion and, thus, the production efficiency of cattle. Therefore, the compressed corn flakes are mostly used for fattening calves and milking cows. The energy doesn’t only take the form of carbohydrates but also the type of fats. Bühler Flacker technology prevents the maize fat from belly digestion, which makes the fat a critical factor for improving the cattle reproduction, their production of milk, and increasing the rates of meat production in fattening calves. When using the Compressed Corn Flakes produced by the Flacker technology, you will be able to replace 30% of the crushed maize for only 20% of the thick flakes and add 10% filling feed. This will improve your production efficiency and reduce feed costs.
