Hi so at work we mill a lot of stuff in aluminum but none of us have any real education in milling. So we basically learned by trial and error.

I feel like the speed that the cutting blade hits the material should be taken into account. The cam software Tries to keep it constant when we change between different tools.

We have an datorn M8 (3 kw) and a NEO (2 kW). They have a spindle speed of up to 60k rpm or something like that. We mostly stay at 35k and for some tools we use 22k rpm.
