CVE-2023-50304 Detail - NVD - 50304
EDIT: It's hard to have 1 or 2 specific questions. I could tell you about the part I'm programming but I am also finding that just trying certain depth cuts and multi passes and helical angles (3deg, 5deg etc.) is how most of us get closer to what works. It would be great tho, to have a decent central knowledge bank of what works, but I guess that is giving away shop 'secrets' so it isn't likely to exist. This sub has helped me multiple times now tho, pretty cool! Thanks to everyone who has responded!
3.5 year machinist just got plopped in the programmer seat after mill supervisor put in his two weeks. I've been calculating SFM and chip load daily for years, I really have little experience with step over percentages. Is there any resource you guys know with step over guidance in different materials? I know it's like cutting anything, depends on several factors (and specific tooling has manufacturers recommendations) but general 'rule of thumb' type stuff would be really helpful until I get my sea legs with all this.
