Had trouble getting into fusion because videos out there were either too fast paced or too dry. This class was able to hold my attention by giving real world examples and keeping videos interesting. Jake and Josh are very passionate about cad and it shows. I was nervous just to open Fusion before. Now I'm very confident opening it up, whipping up a part and printing it out!

I started off this course having made 1 or two INCREDIBLY simple models on TinkerCAD, and having always heard that F360 is the way to go, I decided to give this course a shot, and WOW! this course is SUPER fun, but also incredibly in-depth and really explains all the how's and why's of a CAD modeler. before taking this course, CAD in general looked like some kind of black magic to me. but after completing this course, I can say that I am incredibly confident in my ability to model anything I can think up. I can't recommend this course enough!

Yes we can! We can also track progress and give instructor access to additional course resources. Call (415) 941-4114 or email [email protected] for more information

The course was amazing. I wasn't able to devote the amount of time I wanted to the project because I had stuff at work literally catch on fire (ask me for pictures of melted DC and AC buses), but I was still able to complete the class...

I've "made do" with Tinkercad for many of my designs because I didn't know where to get started on learning Fusion360. For the times I did need power, I'd use youtube videos to do the one task, often frustrated knowing I didn't have the right foundation knowledge. I am happy to say I am a now a lot more confident and modelling far more complex things that I ever expected to be able to do and really enjoy the process now. The course materials are well presented and easy to follow. If you're into 3d printing or wanting have a CNC machine at home, this is well worth the investment of your time.

In many cases, yes but that will depend on your institution or manager. You will receive a course completion certificate proving you completed this course. It definitely does not hurt to ask.

I learned a lot of tiny details along the way in the video that helped me.  I can't believe I can make this stuff.  Great work!

Upon purchasing the course you will receive a link to attend live zoom weekly office hours as well as a private Discord server link where you can talk with us and your peers, and get help with projects.

Access a private community where you can ask questions about specific projects and get help from your peers and teachers.

We suggest you download the hobbyist, educational, startup, or free personal license from Fusion 360. There's no need to pay for the software to complete our course. Any license will work.

Remember, we’ll be at the FDIC 2013 firefighter conference in Indianapolis, IN from April 25 to 27! Visit us in Booth 9550 at the Lucas Oil Stadium. See our press release for details.

This video, in addition to showing you how to cut hardened steel with an angle grinder, has some valuable safety tips. These tips include how to cut with an abrasive blade¹ without having the blade shatter or break on you. Of course, you don’t have to worry about your blade shattering, breaking or grenading if you cut with a Safety Blade or Safety Blade Grinder/Cutter, because they’re made of solid steel (up to 14″) to prevent such accidents.

You will receive a personalized course completion certificate and get mad props from us. In addition, you will be invited to the graduates-only discord server where you can continue to collaborate and build with your knowledgeable peers.

I thought it was great. I really liked the extra context regarding manufacturing techniques (i.e., explaining why there would be a slight bevel for vacuum forming)!

Our class works great for students from 12 to 100 and is designed for beginners with no prior CAD experience. Students under 12 may still be able to complete the course, but might require additional help from a parent or mentor.

This is the best Fusion360 CAD class I have ever seen. It includes well-filmed and clear tutorials, an upbeat instructor with tons of positive energy, and great projects that are actually exciting to make. I can't believe how quickly I've improved my skills. 5 Stars, simply incredible!

You will make 28 CAD models completely from scratch. In addition to videos, each project has a PDF so you can easily follow along.

CAD Class is a "suggested" 12-week program but can be completed faster or slower depending on your needs. We find that students who stick to a weekly schedule complete the course at a higher rate and get more value. It takes about 2-4 hours per week to complete most weeks. You will have access to these course materials forever.

¹ = When we say “abrasive blade”, we don’t mean “abrasive grinding wheel”. Never cut with an abrasive grinding wheel. It will shatter or explode on you if you do.

The course effectively addressed the challenges I previously faced while learning Fusion 360. As a beginner with minimal experience using a CAD program, I quickly gained confidence and proficiency in design as a hobbyist. The instructor, course material, and projects provided a solid foundation for learning. I appreciated the incorporation of real-world examples in the lectures, which made the course more focused on design principles rather than just software instruction. The structured and purposeful lesson progression, with the repetition of elements from previous exercises, helped to develop my skills and improve my muscle memory. By the third or fourth week, I had acquired enough knowledge to troubleshoot and correct my mistakes independently. The weekly meetings were also a valuable aspect of the course, keeping me engaged and accountable. Overall, it was one of the most positive online learning experiences I've had. As a hobbyist with a garage CNC and 3D printer, CAD is no longer a barrier to my projects.

Hardened steel can be tough to cut. According to this video from Ultimate Handyman, that’s because hardened steel is often harder than the steel in hacksaw blades and similar toothed saw blades.

In certain circumstances, we do offer scholarships and grants. Call/Text (415) 941-4114 or email [email protected] for more information

I've made several attempts to learn Fusion360 from Youtube videos to create models for 3D printing, but I always felt I had learned only bits and pieces instead of a comprehensive skillset. Consequently, I was never confident with the software and resorted to Tinkercad a lot. Having done this course, I now feel like I can design anything I want to in Fusion360. Not only are the projects in this course interesting, they're also carefully arranged in a way that leads you deeper and deeper into the program whille never overwhelming you at the same time. This, as well as being part of a community that learns together makes this course not only easy to stick with but also a lot of fun. Last but not least, Jake and Josh are super friendly, helpful and their enthusiasm for CAD is infectious.
