No, the 600 attachments will not work on a Featherweight. The 600 is a slant-needle model while the Featherweight is a low-shank model. Good news is that low-shank attachments are the most common so they are easy to obtain.

So I have a New Home Model B treadle machine. The presser foot screws on with an adapter. Is it a high shank? It was made in 1923.

Low shank vs high shanksize

This is interesting, but I have two Montgomery Ward machines that are DEFINITELY #1 and not #4. They are from Happy, so that's probably why!

I just acquired a box of singer 600 sewing feet attachments # 161794. They look quite complicated and pretty funky and chunky to say the least. Wondering where I can find pictures and instructions for them. A while back I purchased a Singer Featherweight, 1957 I believe. Will the 600 attachments fit my machine? Both were found in a Thrift store, they are in great shape and priced very cheap :) Any info would be greatly appreciated

I have an Eldorado A Treadle sewing machine. It is a streight stitch, top clamping, low shank, lockstitch, long bobbin ; National Sewing Machine Company manufactured. It is in its. Original 7drawer Tiger Oak Cabinet with ELDORADO cast iron treadle base. The GREIST LONG BOBBIN BUTTON HOLER #4 fits it. I am trying to find other adapting stitch attachments like blind hem stitcher, zig zagger, edge stitcher, walking foot, overcaster, etc.... Do you know what I need or if the ones for new home machines can be made to work.
