- [Narrator] The last thing I want to do is prepare my components for production. I'm going to cut my components out of a single piece of material. In fact, if I were to go back and modify the wedge design to be the same material thickness as the side and slat, every component in that entire piece of furniture could be cut out of the same material, thus creating a really good flat-stack furniture design. For right now though, I'm just going to focus on the side. You might have noticed that the fillets on the long edges of the model are no longer visible. That's because those would be more effectively placed on the model by using a router. What I'm going to do is use either a waterjet or a laser cutter to cut the material with a path that's perpendicular to the large face of the material.
