The #40 and #30 bits are not split point. And I received #30 bits that had a negative rake angle meaning that it just sat on the surface and would not 'bite' into and feed into the material

Advertised as long lasting. That may or may not be true. They aren’t nearly as sharpe as HSS. They are far more prone to wander than cheaper HSS. Probably fine in a drill press but not a good choice for drilling aluminum, especially rivet removal.

These are very high quality drill bits at a great price. I am a machinist and buy bits from a lot of different sources, but much prefer these in the sizes Spruce has available.

Good quality bits and reasonable price. A little disappointed they weren’t individually packaged. More important with larger bits I guess.

Excellent quality, very sharp and stayed sharp. A couple bits in my 100 piece set are getting dull so I replaced them. Unfortunately Spruce doesnt offer all sizes, they skip some numbers, and larger sizes as well. Sure wish they had a complete selection. Its tough to find single bits from other sources with as reasonable shipping as A/C Spruce.

These cobalt drill bits are reasonably priced compared to offerings in the local hardware stores and Fastenal. I have not used them enough to know if they last longer.

As always the quality of the product is excellent but I ordered two drills of the same size and neither was the right one. However one was mismarked by the manufacturer. The size difference was obvious to the eye. This was the first time in over 25 years that this has happened and the service you get from Aircraft Spruce is great.

I ordered two #30 Bits in case one went dull. I had to drill out 96 rivets in a Cessna. No problem and I never needed the second bit. I center punched each rivet and the bit never wandered and it grabbed perfectly.

These are very sharp, great drill bits. I wish the size stampings were a little better (some are readable, some are not), but the actual drill bit cutting quality is amazing.

Love the drill bits. They are the best on the market. Just wish whoever packaged them could count. I ordered and paid for 10, but got 9. How can I prove that?
