Threading Tools - threading insert for lathe
Hey all, would love some information on this topic. I had an amazing father, but he just wasn't super handy and there's a lot about tools I still need to learn. When I drill a hole, it's always a DIY home project where 99% off the time I'll either be: drilling into thin metal, concrete walls, or wood studs within a wall.
I'm aware of different bits like spade bits, step bits, brad bits, and hole saw bits, but those all look very unique and easy to distinguish. What are the 3 above for? And also, does the color tell you what it is? Will a titanium bit with a tip that looks like the picture always be gold?
