In this procedure the provider releases joint contracture by either making an incision into or excising the joint capsule between the metacarpal and proximal phalanx of a hand.

I used 1/2" birch ply, you can also use MDF or even better a phenolic blank. Tools needed are the 6mm bit for pockets and contours and 3mm Bit for the 4mm holes for the 4 M5 setscrews (you can simply tap the wood with a a normal metal tap). The perimeter dimension are identical to the OEM part, if you want a snug fit use a 0.5mm offset and then perfect it by sanding, in this way there is no need of complicated retention system. The pockets in my design are all 5mm deep for added strength of the plate, you can also make it as the OEM if you use a phenolic blank. anyway no problems with clearance the plate will also fit some Grizzly table saw, some Laguna Once levelled with the setscrew use a drop of CA glue to avoid future recalibration.
