“Thank you very much for such fantastic service. I have never experienced such courteous and prompt service from any company before. I appreciate you and I will make sure to tell my friends and family to consider you folks when buying."
Kinda related, there seem to be LOADS of super cheap 'Pro Taper' bars on eBay... Clearly Chinese... Very likely knock offs.
My wondering, is with the buy-out and ProTaper seemingly unorganized right now, were they being made in China and now the Chinese are like screw it and selling their stock themselves or are these straight up fakes?

I used to work for Tucker Powersports which owned Pro Taper. Before I quit in January I stocked up on a few things and I believe I have a brand new set of SX Race Fushion bars still in the box. I’ll confirm that tomorrow if you are interested.
dude I thiiiiiiink the factory suzuki bend is another name for that? If so, I have one if you need it. I'm probably going to migrate to renthal when I have a need soon.
“I'm not an easy go when it comes to compliments. It's one of those things that needs to be earned. You guys have done just that. Good product, great price, quick turnaround. What else is there? My compliment to you is well deserved! Thank You!"
“I'm not sure a poor review is possible with this organization--phenomenal products at outstanding prices and a down to earth, intelligent staff (at least the ones I've talked to). These folks do quality custom bits as well if anyone is looking for either "unique" or to duplicate something else out of the norm. There really isn't any reason to shop elsewhere--let us do our part to keep these guys cutting and selling bits!"

Flush trim router bits do exactly as it sounds. It is used to trim a board back to a specific edge. The bearing is on the tip of these types of bits and is used either in a held hand or router table setup. The bearing being the same size as the router bits cutting diameter allows for a precise finish. This type of bit is most commonly used when following templates and patterns.
Welcome to Woodline. At Woodline we specialize in carbide router bits and shaper cutters that are premium quality and a great value. Woodline offers a LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY on router bits and shaper cutters. Of course some limitations like hitting nails or dropping them apply but ours is the best warranty and customer service policy in the business.
Large router bits can only be used in router tables. Most experts suggest once you go over 2” diameter, the bit should never be used by the handheld router but only in tables. This will ensure your safety while woodworking. A good example of this is cabinet door bits. We provide a speed chart as well on our instructions page. The larger the bit, the larger the shank as well. Many router bits come in both ¼” and ½” shank, so larger molding, cabinet, and joinery bits do not. Having both ¼” and ½” collets for your router is a necessity at some point.
Easy now. I had someone in another thread telling me that I was crazy to think that Chinese quality and innovation is anything less than first rate!
Roundover bits are another router bit that does exactly like it sounds it rounds wood over. The roundover bits allow you to cut a precise shape based on the radius you select. Radius can be from a 1/16” to 1-1/4” allowing for almost any project. Roundovers are also used to break edges and give edge detail to projects. The bearing can be changed to give more detail to a project.
I came across this ig story the same day I came across this protaper thread and thought it was interesting and was hoping someone else had more info on it as I do not at all , I don’t know why I didn’t add context my apologies

Specialized router bits can range from beehive bits to cabinet door router bits. Edge detail router bits are ranging from ogee to triple roundovers. Joinery bits come in a variety of setups from tongue and groove to lock miters. Dovetails and spirals are other commonly used router bits. Routers bits are like ingredients, there is a flavor for every style.
At 6’3”, I’ve always been a big fan of RM Low/Pastrana MX. Anyone know where I could find a set or if there is a Renthal equivalent?
There have been knockoffs available forever (especially grips). I love when I see a used bike for sale and they have the knock off grips on them ?

The Husqvarna oem bar is still available from ktm. The clutch side is smooth but it feels the same as the Protaper version.

I just realized that’s AC and Sexton’s media guy. Weird interaction and I’m wondering what transpired for him to post that. What’s strange is Pro Taper is still posting on their social media. I realize an outside company handles that stuff but whoever is still posting must have some understanding of what is going on that they blocked someone asking questions.

Would not surprise me to find out there is something odd going on with the PT deal. Very weird for a sizeable company like that to be acquired and essentially shut down operations (for the time being?) without telling anyone.

“Package received, but I just wanted to thank you again for the exceptional communication and assistance. In today's world there is a lot of talk about service, but very few deliver as you have. Job well done, and a happy customer for life."

While I understand they have new owners- when you buy a company you typically don’t need to get distribution and manufacturing “going”…. You continue to operate with current suppliers, etc..

That being said I’m running the stock Suzuki bend on my RM-Z but they do not feel the same. They are wider by the measurements I could find so I cut them down about a half inch and that helped get closer but they still feel off. I have them rolled back quite a bit too.

“I lost your catalog and bought a bit from someone else -- It broke in a few minutes. I learned my lesson and will hereafter buy all my bits from Woodline."
I tried them back to back (same bend) and could not feel a difference. I would say my evo husky bend feel more flexible than my evo race team bend.

Pattern bits do exactly the same as flush trim bits but the bearing is on the shank side this time. Once again following a template or pattern is the best use of a pattern bit. While it can be used in router table most of the time it is bought to go in handheld application.
Router bits come in many sizes and shapes and their uses vary depending on the application. So the first question we get is what bits will I need to get started after getting my router. This is a very personal question because all of us go in a different direction when choosing our woodworking paths. Some of us will go for furniture while others make toys and gadgets. The following is here to explain the basic routers and what they do.

Pro taper doesn’t hv bar , that’s crazy. I hv a gold pare of Kw bend & a black bar evo maybe & that’s it. Will they hv there act together by April?
Anyone know whats going on with the supply of EVO's or Fuzion's. Everyone is out of stock. Some sites even showing discontinued. I pulled the trigger on a set of ACF's and I'm getting crazy vibration through the bars. Was hoping to go back to a set of Evo's.
Rabbeting router bits are used to create well, “rabbets” on the edge of a board. This allows you to put a mating piece into rabbet making a joint for pieces to connect. Rabbeting bits can be used with many different bearings to produce different depths of cuts into your workpiece. Slot cutters are used in the same way but often have more teeth and a greater depth of cut.
