How to close apocket knife withalock

I almost always keep the Tools panel and the Properties panel (N panel). I turn them off from time to time but most of the time they are on. If you want to work with them off then another way of switching between Tools is to press the Spacebar (assuming you have it set up in Prefs>Keymap to the action Tools instead of Play or Search)

How to close apocket knife with no button youtube

I hope this question makes sense, as it’s the main frustration I’ve had moving over to using HOPSCutter. Also I’m not sure if this has been asked before sorry, but after searching extensively I can’t seem to find an answer to this anywhere else on the internet.

Hi John, thanks for the reply. I’m aware of the shortcut Alt+W to swap between Hard Ops and Boxcutter, but I’m not sure what you mean by the Tools panel sorry. I can’t seem to find anywhere where I can choose the Select Box tool.

I’ve just completed the first section of Blender Bro’s paid course on Hard Ops and Boxcutter - which was great - but it didn’t explain how to temporarily return to using basic selection tools, like Ctrl selecting faces or box selecting objects. These functions seem to be overridden by Boxcutter in particular, so I end up creating cuts and booleans just trying to box select or Ctrl select.

I have both addons installed. If I want to use Boxcutter I have to select the Boxcutter tool on the Tools panel. Most of the the time I’m not using Boxcutter so my selected Tool is normally the default Select Box tool at the top of the panel. To actually use Boxcutter I have to select its Tool which is at the very bottom of the Tools panel or press Ctrl+W. To go back to “normal” just select your default tool.
