Calling all mini machine shop enthusiasts! This stout little multi-purpose machine is a small, yet robust lathe and mill combination that is great for creating small projects. The lathe cuts inch and metric threads and comes with a 3" three-jaw scroll chuck. The compound rest features a 4-way turret tool post and the cross slide conveniently acts as a mill table with two 5/16” T-slots for work-holding. Accurate and repeatable, the mill has an adjustable head, a fine down feed clutch, and comes with a JT2 drill chuck with arbor. Turn, mill, and drill precise little parts with the G0937 Lathe/Mill Combo. Lathe Specifications
CNC machines are programmed by the spindle speed (RPM), but cutting data is typically given in SFM. Therefore it is common that we need to compute the SFM from a given RPM to determine the cutting speed at which our cutting tool is working. It is calculated by dividing the cutter’s circumference by the cutting speed.
