DNMG insert is double-sided 55° rhombic, clearance angle 0°. with optimized substrate and coating combination,DNMG has top performance. Geometry of insert can optimized for machining application. Grade and geometry provide high reliability. Excellent wear detection ensures all edges are used. With a range of different sizes, we make it easy to select the ideal turning insert for your planned applications.

These are most prevalent milling operations,  using different types of cutters – the End Mill and the face mill. The difference between End Milling and face milling is that an End Mill uses both the end and the sides of the cutter, whereas face milling is used for horizontal cutting.

Particularly worthy of mention is the modified geometry which with its new cutting edge version and an optimised chip groove ensures the greatest possible stability. At the same time less cutting force is required.

The innovative round inserts which correspond to DIN RDMT 07 / RDMT 16 are available for use in Pokolm tool holders with axial rake angles of 0° and 7°.

DNMG is first choice for external turning of slim workpieces , suitable for medium finishing and finishing of all types steel.

In holders with 0° rake angle, the new rotating inserts are especially recommended for milling martensitic materials. In association with 7° positive tools, they are perfectly designed for milling austenitic steels, but high-temperature alloys and titanium alloys can also be machined in this constellation. For all non-corroding materials, dry machining with high cutting speeds is equally paramount. On top of that, the new round inserts can even be used for wet machining up to 140 m/min.

Pokolm Frästechnik GmbH & Co. KG has just expanded its range of cutting materials for milling cutter bodies with round inserts in 7 mm and 16 mm diameters for machining stainless, acid and heat-resistant materials (SAH machining).
