Omar Ghazi known as O­-Drop is an American producer, and instrumentalist currently based in Minnesota. Omar was born in August 15, 1988 and his interest in music production began at the age of 13 when his cousin introduced him to FL Studio and then, Ableton Live 4. Live has been Omar’s preferred DAW ever since. He grew up playing guitar influenced by metal, indie, and post­ rock, but he eventually segued into electronic music production covering a variety of genres ­ blending ethereal sounds with danceable beats, he is always looking for threading intricate sounds together for his listeners. With influences like Seven Lions, Above and Beyond, DJ Minnesota, Odesza, Bondax and the likes, Omar is always trying to invoke emotions by writing smooth and uplifting melodies.
